Look what I came across? The original The Bed Book, by Sylvia Plath who is best known for her emotionally tumultuous poetry, and life. But you might not know that she also wrote this charming book of poetry for children… about beds! And as you can see, the original book has illustrations by none other than the legendary Quentin Blake, who also did many illustrations for Roald Dahl’s books.
It’s hard to find one of these original copies, but you can find the newer ones with illustrations by Emily Arnold McCully right here!
