I was thrilled by this discovery today of design studio Swedish Ninja, founded in 2007 by industrial designer, Maria Gustavsson. Okay, so I was a bit slow on the uptake but just so glad to be aware now! Swedish Ninja’s goal is to avoid the current disposable trends of our culture by creating unique and timeless furniture and pieces to be passed on from generation to generation. Two of her products are specifically for kids : Taxi Leo, a sweet roller dog for kids, and Town, a decorative sound absorption solution (which is what you see in the backdrop, just in case you weren’t paying attention). I am seriously in love with that Taxi Leo – looks like so much fun and you could easily fit three kids on that…guess that’s why Leo is a taxi!
