Jack and Jill is a DIY Construction Kit designed by Noa Haim. The Kits were designed especially for Playtime, the international children’s trade show. And are on display at the Belle Salle Shibuya Garden, Tokyo February 25-26-27, 2014.

Noa is a designer and architect based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, operating under the title, Collective Paper Aesthetics. She has developed a collection of  construction toys and ‘hands-on’ public and private furnishings in collaboration with museums, science centers,  and cultural and educational organizations. And her motto is, “everyone can play a designer”! We’ve actually been lucky enough to have some of Noa’s paper art toys. I must post photos of what we made!

Noa has won numerous awards and she was selected for the Shenzhen Hong Kong Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture 2011, along with a nomination for FRAME moooi design award 2013.

Collective Paper Aesthetics products will soon be distributed in Japan by Cast Japan. And the great news is that for the next 39 days, the first 15 DIY Construction Kits will be on sale right on this link! You can choose between blue, red or yellow.

And make sure you scroll down to see the interesting video of Noa at work!
