Well, Halloween today was amazing as usual. The girls were so full of joy and so excited about it all. We did the same circuit we did last year which I blogged about in my Halloween in New York City post. And this year, we somehow acquired even more candy than usual and I’m wondering what to do all this leftover Halloween candy…
I came up with three alternatives:
1. I was thinking we could do the Halloween Candy Buyback where dentists buy candy to get it out of homes. And the proceeds go to Operation Gratitude which provides care packages for our overseas troops. Which obviously is a great idea.
2. Save it for a piñata cookies or piñatas. Not a bad idea but the candy will still be in the house until a birthday comes around and then hopefully, the little kiddie guests will pounce on the bulk of it and relieve us of it!
3. Make one of these Halloween Cookie Candy Cakes, which will not be getting it out of the house unless you take this to a house warming or a dinner!
