This Block Mold by Lai Yeh Chen is amazing and won a design award…and he deserves it. It’s a simple mold designed to make building blocks for children out of recyclable paper, water, and a bit of time. His idea was a toy that any child could afford and one that would also embody the concept of protecting the earth. And the mold dish can be turned over to be the base for the building blocks once they are dried. The blocks can also be painted. Ingenious. Not sure when or where we will be able to buy this though.
