It’s so great to see such lovely, airy, truly summery clothes by TWIN-SET by Simona Barbieri, in their gorgeous Summer 2017 Collection. The girl’s collection has the same easy flair as the women’s collection, and although not a mini-me rendition of the women’s line as per other brands, the sweeping and fluid lines are present and unmistakeable. The look is also unmistakably Italian fashion at it’s most effortless and confident. The tones are earthy, white and muted, and embroidery always plays a part in these collections. And then there is the funky, streetwear with faded denim and distressed motifs.
The TWIN-SET Simona Barbieri brand appeared on the Italian market in the early ’90s thanks of Simona Barbieri and the entrepreneurial flair of Tiziano Sgarbi. The brand gained a foothold in Italy and abroad, and year after year, they’ve grown into an ever richer and complete look, adding to their beginnings of just sweaters and knitwear, which are all, by the way, produced entirely in Italy.
TWIN-SET also produces tailored garments, accessories, lingerie and resort wear, and a novelty denim collection.
