Aurélia Jourist’s wonderful illustrations and textile designs printed using traditional techniques just take my breath away. Everything is done by hand, because her drawings are very delicate, with fine lines like engraving and couldn’t be printed using industrial techniques. Her themes are mainly memories of her family from Eastern Europe and her inspiration comes from their tales and beliefs. The result is magical and exquisite. Her website is a dream and I dream of putting my little girls to sleep on these pieces of art!
