Fashion Week Grand Finale: Wovenplay

Well, we hope that you have enjoyed our Fashion Week and we leave you on a playful note with Wovenplay. The artistic Brooklyn label which makes to-die-for dress up clothes, especially tutus and tiaras. They of course, also have everyday wear which successfully keeps that fun, play feeling but aren’t strictly for dressing up. Wovenplay uses hand processes in the development of its textiles and custom-mixed paints and dyes, and hand-made trims are used in each collection. I also love their funky hand-illustrated original prints.

Above are some pix from their coming Fall/Winter 2011 collection. I love that Grecian tunic with green print and of course am seriously dying for one or more of their dramatic capes. Below are a few random pieces below that I especially like. I would love to see my daughter Oona in this purple dress. And I did manage to fit one boy’s item in there-those cool stitched knee jeans. You can purchase some of their range on their website or find a list of stockists there too.
