In a beautiful old factory building in Hamburg, North Germany, we visited GOLDPRINZ Manufaktur. Tanja Isabel Dipner, mother of a lovely daughter, multiple-talent and founder of GOLDPRINZ lives and works in a stunning family-sized loft, which also doubles as her studio/showroom. Here she creates the most beautiful and highest spec wooden children’s furniture in the world, as well as many series of art works using different mediums including canvas, plexiglass and fabrics.
Tanja Isabel Dipner travels widely and brings back one-off furniture pieces from various decades of the last century, which she then reworks into a totally new and modern style. Seeing as she just feels alive through producing and creating all the time, she invented the perfect antidote to becoming a “Messy”: she also turned her loft into a showroom where clients can buy everything. Being surrounded all the time by transformation, she learned one of the most important lessons in life: Live and let go.
